An iTaskers Guide to Accepting Tasks

In the fast-paced world of the gig economy, the process of taking on tasks and ensuring their completion in a seamless manner is crucial. For users of the iTaskers platform, accepting and managing tasks is a straightforward process. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie to the platform, here’s a step-by-step guide to ensure you navigate tasks with ease.

1. Accessing Your Taskboard

Begin by navigating to your home screen. From here, you can easily access your taskboard which is the primary hub for all your task-related activities.

2. Understanding Your Taskboard Layout

Your taskboard is intuitively divided into three main sections:

  • Whiteboard: This is where new tasks, posted by clients seeking your services, appear.

  • Active Task: Tasks that you've accepted and are currently in progress are found here.

  • Closed Task: This section archives tasks that have been completed and settled.

3. Making the Choice

Once a task appears on your whiteboard, you're under no obligation to accept. Review the task details, assess if it matches your skills and availability, and make an informed decision.

4. Task Transitioning

Should you choose to accept a task, it will automatically shift from the whiteboard and nestle itself into the Active Task section. This transition signifies your commitment to fulfilling the task.

5. Keeping the Client Informed

Upon accepting a task, it's essential to keep the client updated on your movements. Start by changing your task status to 'On Route' as you make your way to the task location.

6. Notifying Client of Arrival

Your punctuality and communication are key. Once you arrive at the designated location (typically the client’s residence or workplace), ensure you change your task status to 'On Site'. This keeps the client informed and assures them of your presence.

7. Task Completion and Client Confirmation

After successfully completing the task, modify the task status to 'Complete'. It's now the client's turn to review and confirm the completion on their end.

8. The Billing Process

With the task completed and client's confirmation received, you can proceed to create an invoice detailing the service provided and the corresponding cost. Send this invoice directly to the client through the platform.

9. Securing Your Payment

Your hard work pays off when the client reviews and confirms the invoice. Following their confirmation, the payment process is initiated, ensuring you get compensated for your services.

10. Archiving Completed Tasks

For record-keeping and to maintain a clean workspace, once all the above steps are concluded and the task is fully settled, it transitions to the Closed Task section. This archive can be helpful for future references or any follow-ups.

The iTaskers platform is designed to provide an efficient and straightforward way for taskers to manage their assignments. By following these steps, you ensure a smooth workflow, from task acceptance to completion, while also providing transparency and constant communication to your clients. Happy tasking!
